Lingyun Battery was founded in 1993 in Baoji, a heavy-industry city in Shaanxi Province, China — historically one of the country's automotive and rolling-stock manufacturing hubs. Lingyun has grown alongside that ecosystem, supplying OE batteries to Shaanxi Automobile, Beiben Heavy Truck, Foton Daimler and Sany Heavy Industry.
Today Lingyun runs 5 million units of annual lead-acid battery capacity across SLI, EFB, AGM, marine, gel and heavy-duty product lines, serving both domestic OE programs and international distributor networks.
Lingyun's identity is engineering-led rather than marketing-led: the company invests in production discipline, lab capability and OE-grade quality systems. AltusVolt exists to translate that engineering credibility into language and commercial structure that international buyers recognize.
