OEM & Private Label
Your brand on Lingyun-quality batteries
AltusVolt manages OEM and private-label projects with Lingyun manufacturing — custom case dimensions, custom labels, custom electrical specs. Tooling support available for new case designs.
What's customizable
Six axes of customization, available through Lingyun manufacturing capabilities.
Brand label & artwork
Full-color labels, embossed cases, hot-stamped logos, multi-language artwork. Editable label files supplied for approval.
Custom case dimensions
Tooling support for new case formats. Tooling lead time 60–90 days; existing case library covers BCI, DIN and JIS standards.
Custom electrical specs
Capacity (Ah), CCA, RC and cycle-life targets engineered to your application — passenger SLI, deep cycle or dual-purpose.
Terminal configuration
Top-post, side-post, dual-terminal, threaded post, marine knurled — terminal layout matched to your installation.
Climate optimization
Tropical-spec separators, anti-corrosion grids, low-temperature CCA boost — engineered for the climate you ship into.
Packaging
Custom carton design, blister packaging, master pack count, multi-language compliance labels and barcoding.
MOQ & lead time tiers
Three tiers from quick-launch to fully-exclusive design.
Catalog SKU + custom label
MOQ
1×40HQ
Lead time
25–30 days
Existing Lingyun catalog product, your label and packaging artwork. Lowest barrier to enter the market with your brand.
Custom electrical specs (existing case)
MOQ
3×40HQ / year
Lead time
30–45 days
Tuned electrical performance — Ah, CCA, RC, cycle life — using existing tooling. Engineering review, sample, then production.
Custom case design (new tooling)
MOQ
5×40HQ committed
Lead time
60–90d tooling + 30d production
New case mold for fully exclusive form factor. Tooling investment shared per program; design IP terms set in OEM agreement.
How the OEM project works
Five stages, jointly managed by AltusVolt and Lingyun engineering.
01
Submit project brief
Application, target Ah/CCA, dimensions if known, volume forecast, target launch date.
02
Engineering review
AltusVolt + Lingyun engineering review (1 week). Feasibility, recommended approach, tooling cost if required.
03
Sample tooling + electrical sample
Tooling fabrication (if applicable) + electrical sample. 4–8 weeks depending on customization scope.
04
Approval & PO
Sample approval, mass-production PO issued, production scheduled, deposit invoiced.
05
Production & shipment
Mass production runs to specification, FOB / CIF / DAP shipment with full export documentation pack.

Frequently asked
OEM & private label FAQ
What is the minimum order quantity for OEM? add
Catalog SKU with custom label starts at 1×40HQ. Custom electrical specs on existing tooling: 3×40HQ minimum annual commitment. Fully custom tooling: 5×40HQ committed across a defined program horizon.
How is tooling cost handled? add
For custom case designs, tooling cost is quoted per project after engineering review. Options include full upfront customer-funded tooling (with IP rights), shared tooling (amortized over volume) or Lingyun-funded tooling for high-volume programs.
How is design IP protected? add
NDA is signed before any spec exchange. Custom-tooled designs are exclusive to the customer for the contract horizon; case designs do not reappear under other brands while the agreement is active. Specifics are codified in the OEM agreement.
What is the sample lead time? add
Catalog SKU sample with custom label: 10–15 days. Custom electrical sample on existing case: 25–30 days from spec sign-off. Custom-tooled sample: 60–90 days from tooling kickoff.
Can I have exclusive design rights for my market? add
Yes — exclusivity for a custom-tooled design within a defined territory is standard in the OEM agreement. Exclusivity scope (territory, channel, time horizon) is negotiated per program.
What are the payment milestones? add
Tooling: 50% on PO, 50% on sample approval. Mass production: 30% T/T deposit on PO, 70% against B/L copy. L/C at sight is supported for established partners.
