Why CCS Approval Opens Doors
Commercial marine insurance and class society rules (CCS, ABS, DNV, Lloyd's, BV, ClassNK) require that critical onboard batteries carry type approval from a recognized class society. Without it, vessels can fail port-state inspections, charterers can reject the vessel, and insurance claims may be denied. Our CCS approval is mutually recognized by IACS member societies — making this battery acceptable on classed vessels operating internationally.
CCS Type Approval
China Classification Society certification. Mutually recognized by ABS, DNV, BV, Lloyd's and other IACS member class societies for many applications.
Salt-Spray Hardened
Marine-grade case construction with corrosion-resistant terminals. Survives the saltwater humidity that destroys land batteries in months.
Dual-Purpose
Combined high CCA + deep cycle in a single battery. Cranks the main engine and runs nav lights, autopilot, fridge, and radio for days.
Vibration-Hardened
Reinforced grid and case design tested for 24/7 hull pounding, engine vibration, and impact loading typical of commercial marine service.
