EFB Batteries
The smart middle path between conventional flooded and AGM. Carbon-enhanced negative active material doubles cycle life over conventional, at roughly half the cost premium of AGM. Right for entry-level start-stop without regen brake.
When EFB beats AGM
Vehicles equipped with basic start-stop but no regenerative braking are over-specified for AGM and under-served by conventional flooded. EFB fills that gap with carbon-additive plate chemistry — same flooded electrolyte, but with dramatically improved Partial State of Charge tolerance. The result is double the cycle life of conventional flooded at roughly half the cost premium of AGM. Particularly well-suited to tropical climates where AGM may suffer from heat-induced grid corrosion.
Carbon-Enhanced Plates
Carbon and graphite additives in the negative active material dramatically improve partial state-of-charge tolerance — the key to start-stop duty.
Cost-Effective Upgrade
Roughly 25% premium over conventional flooded vs. 70% for AGM. Lowest TCO for entry-level start-stop fleet replacements in cost-sensitive markets.
Tropical Climate Friendly
Better high-temperature tolerance than AGM. Right choice for India, Latin America, Middle East, and parts of Southeast Asia.
